MEKINOX elected for funding for FUI11 tender

Sofiplast Group is involved in the MEKINOX project as sub-contractors TDS have recommended the use of Triboslide^® coating and a fluoropolymer coating in very thin layers.
These coatings, combined with pre-treatments, are perceived as a possible alternative to hard-chromium.

Approval renewed for AS205
(compatibility with drinking water)

Our AS205 coating has had its approval renewed by CARSO-LSEHL Laboratory of Lyon, for compatibility with drinking water.
This coating can be applied to metal, plastic or ceramic structures.
It can help eliminate mechanical or noise operating faults due to friction.
AS205 offers good resistance to chemical agents.

Uses:
Taps, fluid ducts, runners, trunking, conveyors, actuators, screw threads, teeth, splines…

We have just added a coating with no PFOA or PTFE to our product range for kitchen equipment: AS7013.

Specifications:

• Non-stick
• Good resistance to abrasion
• Anti-corrosion
• Working temperature: +400°C, continuous
